Bees appoint Witham coach as boss number four

Following the departure of Neil Blackburn on Sunday, Basildon United today announced that Witham Town coach John Sussex was their fourth manager of the season. The club released the following statement:

'We are pleased to welcome John Sussex to the club as 1st team manager, John joins us from Witham Town and will bring in Danny Kerrigan as his assistant.

They will join up with the team at training tomorrow with all thoughts on Saturday’s game.'

Sussex also made a statement, which you will see in the attached image, borrowed from the Bees Twitter Feed.

Sussex follows Neil Blackburn, Marc Harrison and Lee Connor in occupying the Bees hotseat during this campaign. His new charges travel to Felixstowe and Walton United on Saturday.
