Merstham last night announced the signing of Bedfont Sports goalkeeper Matte Pierson.

Matt, like a number of manager Frank Wilson's new arrivals, is another with a Tooting connection, having turned out for Wilson at Imperial Fields a few years ago. He will be a great loss to Sports, for whom he won several awards at the end of their first Isthmian season.
