Lewes and Tooting stars get their professional chance

Two of our players today got the news that they were off to the Football League. Firstly, Lewes forward Jonte Smith was confirmed as a new signing for Oxford United- and in the last hour it has been confirmed that Tooting and Mitcham United's Abraham Odoh is off on loan to Charlton Athletic until the end of the season.

Smith already has a taste of the professional game, as he was at Crawley Town under Steve Evans, and since then has played at a number of clubs, including Metropolitan Police, Gloucester City and two spells at Lewes. He has already made thirty four appearances for the Rooks this season, scoring twelve goals, and was instrumental as the club won promotion from the South Division last season. Read more on this move at the Lewes website, here.

Terrors man Odoh has made seventeen appearances for the South Central Division side so far this season- and you can read all about his move across South London by visiting the Tooting Facebook page, here.
