Worthing FC announce temporary move to Bognor

By Ian Townsend

Pitch problems continue for the Mackerel Men

Problems with the 3G pitch at Woodside Road continue to blight Worthing's season, with the club now announcing that their home match with Margate, scheduled for Saturday 9th September, will be played at Bognor Regis Town's Nyewood Lane.

The Mackerel Men, who have been forced to play their first five matches away from home and have lost them all, are still not sure that the pitch will be ready after 9th September, but remain hopeful that a temporary fix can be applied which will allow them to return home.
