A big week for the Seasiders- starts tonight!

Felixstowe and Walton United have three matches which will define their season- starting tonight against East Thurrock United

Felixstowe and Walton United have been regular victims of the weather in recent weeks, and the consequence of that is the need to play their last three matches this week.

Tonight, East Thurrock United come to call. On Wednesday, the Seasiders are on the road to Witham Town. Finally, on Saturday they play hosts to play off rivals Heybridge Swifts- and then we'll know what next week will bring, if anything!

The Seasiders find themselves four points behind fifth place Grays Athletic and fourth place Heybridge Swifts, but they do have two games in hand over both of the sides above them- and, of course, have what could be a massive match against Swifts at the weekend. To make it a massive match, however, United will need to deliver positive- or at least, not negative- results during the first half of the week, starting tonight.

The visiting Rocks are safe from involvement in drama at either end of the table, which is probably just as well, given they have lost six of their last seven matches and taken only one point from the last twenty one available to them. The Seasiders form has been hardly earth-shattering either of late, with three wins from eight, but their home form has generally been superb. When the two sides met in February felixstowe had to come from behind twice to take a point in a two-two draw, however the Rocks side will be virtually unrecognisable from that match.

Kick off is at 7.45 PM.
