Canvey Island bring in Charlie Edwards from Corinthian-Casuals

Charlie Edwards was a midfield debutant for Canvey Island as they ended Bishop's Stortford's long unbeaten record on Saturday, after moving up the table from Corinthian-Casuals.

Charlie made ten appearances for Casuals this season, scoring against Haringey Borough, and five more towards the end of last season.

He was previously with Potters Bar Town, Wingate and Finchley, Harlow Town and Hertford Town, as well as Waltham Abbey, where he played for part of the 2018-19 and all of the 2019-20 campaigns.

As a side note, the 2018 FA Cup Final ball had his name on it, in celebration of a goal he scored in a replay against Grays Athletic for Hertford Town!
