A collection of new Scholars

By Ian Townsend

Potters Bar Town had a plethora of new talent as they defeated Kingstonian on Saturday- including one player who had just left the K's. Here's a round up of Scholarly transfers.

Potters Bar Town's squad at Kingstonian on Saturday had a number of names new to the club.

Most notably, starting in the number of four shirt was Frazer Shaw. Frazer moved over from the K's, although he'd been there for around fifteen minutes and had only played three times, twice entering the fray from the bench. He has experience further up the pyramid, with Leyton Orient and Accrington Stanley, and has also played for the likes of Billericay Town, Dulwich Hamlet (two spells), Concord Rangers, East Thurrock United and Woking.

Isaac Ogundere and Quaine Bartley came in on loan from AFC Wimbledon. Isaac started the campaign on loan with Leatherhead, and made eighteen appearances for the Tanners before departing Fetcham Grove recently. Quaine also has Isthmian experience this season, as he spent some time on loan at Cray Wanderers. He made four appearances for the Wands in late September/early October.

The trio are added to a number of other new arrivals last week.

Kacper Kurylowicz, a goalkeeper, has come through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur, playing youth, Under 18 and Under 23 football, and arrives on loan from White Hart Lane. Zak Guerfi is another who has played for Leatherhead this season- six times, including in the Tanners 4-3 win at Town back in December. He has since spent time at Cray Wanderers, and also played for Tonbridge Angels and Sevenoaks Town.

Defender Jacques Kpohomouh comes in from Herne Bay, where he has only been since January. He previously played for Hartley Wintney, Ashton United, and Hemel Hempstead Town. Another defender, Eniola Agemoh-Davies, previously played for St Ives Town and Soham Town Rangers, whilst midfielder Tyler Christian-Law has lots of experience- some in our ranks- with Leiston, Braintree Town, Enfield Borough, Hanwell Town, Wealdstone, Romford, Wingate & Finchley and Margate.

Forward Chris Manangu has played for St Ives Town, Hayes & Yeading United and Kempston Rovers, and for Grays Athletic back in the 2015-16 season, whilst another attacker, Levi Amantchi, comes in from Redditch, but has previously played for Chesterfield, Blyth Spartans, Darlington and Workington, so will find Potters Bar positively tropical in comparison.
