A pair of Moatsiders

Cameron Lewis-Brown and Reece Deakin are new at Merstham

Merstham had two debutants in Saturday's victory over Northwood, and one of them featured again as they drew with Tooting & Mitcham last night.

Cameron Lewis-Brown, a right back, joins the club on loan from Premier League side Crystal Palace. Cameron, who is also studying for a Sports Science degree, is part of the Under 21 setup at Selhurst Park, and missed most of last season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury picked up in an Under 18 Premier League Cup match against Manchester City. He has also spent some time on loan with Bearsted in the SCEFL.

Reece Deakin, a forward, spent some time with Haywards Heath Town in the Pitching In Isthmian South East last season. He was previously with Cray Wanderers, and has also had an injury hit professional spell with Morecambe. He has also spent some time at Leatherhead, Greenwich Borough, Guildford City, and this season has turned out for Sittingbourne.
