A pair of Oysterboys

Whitstable had two debutants yesterday

Whitstable Town gave debuts to two new signings in yesterday's home draw with Haywards Heath Town, attacking midfielder John Ufuah and winger Marshall Wratten, who were named as numbers ten and eleven on the team sheet.

Wratten, nineteen, is in the first year of a professional deal with Dover Athletic after coming through the club's Academy. He might be familiar to Isthmian League watchers, as he made a number of appearances for Margate last season, mainly from the substitutes bench.

Ufuah joins from Leatherhead, having made six appearances this season- the last in the four-one home defeat to Lewes on 31st August. He joined the Tanners towards the end of last season, making a number of appearances from the bench as they narrowly failed to grab a playoff place. Prior to his move to Fetcham Grove he made a number of South East Division appearances at Three Bridges, although not against his new club.
