Leatherhead added two new names to their squad at the weekend, with the signings of Harvey Keogh and Marco Underwood- a pair of goalkeepers!
Regular Tanners keeper Mikey Allen has suffered what may be a season ending injury, so boss Hayden Bird has brought in two replacements- but don't worry, we won't allow them both to play in goal at once!
Harvey is a former Tanners youth, who made his breakthrough at Aldershot Town where he played for the Under 23 side. Since then he become an England Under 18 international, and played for Fleet Town, Redhill and, most recently, Epsom & Ewell- indeed he was a massive part of the Epsom side which knocked Metropolitan Police out of the FA Cup in August, despite playing with a dislocated finger. He's very young and highly rated- imagine how good he might be with eight fit fingers and two fit thumbs!
Marco comes in on loan from Fulham, where he plays for the Under 18 side- but he hasn't been there long, signing his first Scholarship Agreement with the Premier League side last month. Less than ten days ago he was playing for Fulham as they took on Liverpool in the Fourth Round of the FA Youth Cup.
He was previously with Woking, who he joined as an Under 16 and left after helping the Under 18's to win the Isthmian Youth League Cup last season. He also spent some time in the first team squad last season, and indeed played in the Surrey Senior Cup.
