A Seagull stopper for the Tanners

Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper joins Leatherhead

Leatherhead last night announced the arrival at Fetcham Grove of goalkeeper Adam Desbois, who comes in on loan from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.

Tanners boss Luke Tuffs, writing on social media, was delighted with his new signing:

'Absolutely made up we’ve got Adam on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion until the end of the season. We had Adam with us during our time at Hartley Wintney and know what a fantastic young keeper he is. Thanks to Brighton for their help and Adam in trusting us with his development!'

Adam started his career with Reading, playing for the Under 18 side and being called up to the England Under 17 squad. It was whilst with the Royals that he had that Hartley loan, and then during 2019 he headed to the south coast.
