A Towners duo

By Ian Townsend

Marcus Wyllie and James Dayton are the latest arrivals at Enfield Town

Enfield Town yesterday announced two new arrivals, as Marcus Wyllie and James Dayton signed on.

Marcus is a forward, and was rather prolific last season, scoring thirty six goals for Risborough Rangers in the Spartan South Midlands League. He previously spent time with Berkhampsted and Chesham United.

Midfielder James has played much higher up the pyramid. A Crystal Palace youth, he played for Yeovil Town and Crawley Town before heading north of the border, where he turned out for Kilmarnock. He had another brief stay in Scotland with St Mirren, but at this side of Hadrian's Wall he has turned out extensively for Oldham Athletic, Cheltenham Town and Leyton Orient, before stepping down a couple of levels to play for Dulwich Hamlet.
