A trio for Uxbridge

By Ian Townsend

Kai Hobbs, Prince Ogunmekan and Lewis Pegg arrive at Honeycroft

Uxbridge had a number of new arrivals in their squad prior to the visit of Northwood on Saturday.

Kai Hobbs arrived from Pitching In Southern Premier side Basingstoke Town. He has signed on a dual registration deal.

Kai joined Stoke in the summer, after impressing last season at Binfield. He previously played youth football with Bracknell Town and Camberley Town, and was then magnificent for the Moles, playing forty four times- more than any other player.

Prince Ogunmekan returns to the club. The midfielder played youth football for Ipswich Town before joining Bromley, and after leaving Hayes Lane spent time with Loughborough University and Coalville Town before his first season with Uxbridge, when he played forty two matches during 21-22. He spent last season back in Loughborough.

Finally, Lewis Pegg- a centre half- joins the club after playing for Beaconsfield Town.

Lewis was an Under 23 player with Slough Town, eventually forcing his way into the first team squad. As a younger player, he spent time with Maidenhead United. He made nineteen times for Bedfont Sports during the 21-22 campaign, and spent some of last season with Binfield, making thirty five appearances, and also spent some time with Met Police.
