A Tuesday Friendly Round Up

Many of our sides were in action last night. Here- to the best of our knowledge- is what happened, with big wins for Marlow, Brentwood Town, Chichester City and Sheppey United

We're reliant entirely on social media for this round up, so apologies for any inaccuracies or omissions.

AFC Varndeanians and Burgess Hill Town met at Horsham, and the Hillians triumphed two-one, Hallard and Powell with the goals. Elsewhere in Sussex, Arundel hosted Littlehampton Town, the Golds triumphing two-nil, Jarvis and Gaskin the scorers.


Ascot United fell three-one to Hanwell Town, whilst Aveley defeated Lewes four-two, after the Rooks went two-nil up. Another Sussex side on the road were Chichester City, at Baffins Milton Rovers, and they won four-one.


Beaconsfield Town defeated Kingstonian three-one, whilst Bowers & Pitsea and Chatham Town were separated by just one goal, in favour of the visitors. Brodie scored it.


Brentwood Town defeated a Luton Town XI by four goals to nil, whilst Bury Town lost by the same margin against Kings Lynn Town. Hythe Town got four against Canterbury City, conceding one- Embery and a Schafer hat trick for the Cannons, whilst Canvey Island lost by the only goal against Southend United.


Carshalton Athletic hosted Leatherhead, the Tanners winning two-nil, Cox and Elechi with the goals, whilst another South Central side, Chertsey Town, defeated Virginia Water three-nil.
Colliers Wood United defeated Corinthian-Casuals two-one, whilst Margate defeated Corinthian three-two, Blackman and Cawley (2) with the goals. Dorking Wanderers and Horsham drew one-one, Kavanagh with the Hornets goal, and there was no shortage of goals at Egham Town, as Marlow got SEVEN! Boorn, Stewart, three trialists and an own goal found the Sarnies net.


Glebe fell three-nil to Cray Wanderers, Porter, Cook and an own goal the scorers, whilst Hanworth Villa and Hampton & Richmond Borough drew one-one, the visitors winning on penalties. Haringey Borough defeated Royston Town two-one, Pawel and Babilola with the goals.


Harrow Borough and Northwood drew three-three, Williams (2) and Alexander-Greenaway for the visitors, whilst Bracknell Town defeated Hartley Wintney two-one. Vine scored for the visitors.

Havant & Waterlooville defeated Horndean two-nil, and New Salamis were three-one winners at Hertford Town.

Heybridge Swifts took on a strong Crawley Town side and fell seven-one, Rob Harvey scoring for Swifts, whilst Hornchurch and Braintree Town didn’t manage a goal.


Maidstone United were three-nil winners over Folkestone Invicta, and at Maldon & Tiptree the Jammers and Concord Rangers played out an entertaining two-two draw. Gardner and Day scored for the Beachboys.


Met Police fell two-one as they hosted Farnborough, and Needham Market v Stowmarket Town finished goalless.


Newmarket Town defeated Witham Town four-three, Phoenix Sports lost three-two to Welling Town, and another defeat went the way of Potters Bar Town, who lost three-nil to Boreham Wood.

Redhill defeated Merstham four-one, and Risborough Rangers v Uxbridge ended as a two-two draw, Thomas and Morgan for the visitors.



Shoreham and East Grinstead Town spent ninety minutes searching for a goal, and the Wasps got one right at the end to win, whilst Sittingbourne scored three against Bromley, but also conceded three. Kithambo, Bloomfield and Taveras with the goals for the Brickies.


Snodland Town lost five-one to Sheppey Utd, Bradshaw (2), Allsopp, Wilkins and Morgans for the Ites, whilst Thatcham Town defeated Wokingham & Emmbrook three-one.


Thetford defeated Wroxham two-one, and at Jubilee Field Three Bridges fell three-nil to Chipstead. Tooting & Mitcham Utd and Dulwich Hamlet drew one-one, in a match marred by injuries to Alfie Allen and Jerry Gyebi for the visitors. Mills scored the goal.


VCD Athletic were defeated two-nil by Herne Bay, Richards and Rowland for the visitors, whilst Walthamstow and Cheshunt shared four goals equally, Anyadike with both goals for the hosts late on to earn them a draw. Meehan and Unwin scored for the Ambers.


Welwyn Garden City welcomed Enfield Town, the visitors winning three-one. Bessadi, Wyllie and Beckles-Richards with the goals.
