Adrian Titcombe- deepest condolences

By Ian Townsend

We mourn the passing of a long-standing servant of our national game

We have recently heard the sad news that former FA official- and current UEFA official- Adrian Titcombe has passed away in Cyprus, where he was a member of a UEFA party attending the Europa League Qualifier between Apollon Limassol and Austria Wien.

Adrian was a long-serving senior official with the Football Association, and a great friend to our League. He held a number of positions with the FA during his career, amongst them Head of Competitions and Regulations and Head of Security, and was often seen leading out the teams prior to the FA Cup Final. He also had a spell picking the England Non-League team, and was a regular figure at Non League grounds carrying out grading inspections, particularly for Southern League clubs, where he was the Club Liaison Officer.

We would like to pass our most sincere condolences to Adrian's family and friends.
