Agyakwa new at Athletic

Marlon Agyakwa makes his Grays Athletic debut- against the club he'd just left

Grays Athletic's new number ten may have been confused about which dressing room to use as he arrived for their match with Stowmarket Town on Saturday, as Marlon Agyakwa had just departed their opponents.

Winger Marlon had only been with Stow since mid November, and had managed eleven appearances, scoring once. He actually started the campaign at Parkside, with Athletic's landlords, Aveley.

He came through the ranks at Southend United, and after leaving the Shrimpers stayed in the area with Canvey Island. He had two spells with the Gulls, the latest in 2018-19- when he played forty six times- after initially playing for three seasons.

He has also spent time with Oxford City and Didcot Town, but has also spent time with Tilbury, making thirty four appearances and scoring seven times.

He signed for Aveley during the summer, but missed most of the Millers campaign through injury, playing only once, and earlier this season spent time on loan at Brentwood Town- making four appearances and scoring three goals.
