All change at Invicta

Micheal Everitt and Roland Edge depart

Folkestone Invicta have announced the departure of first team managers Micheal Everitt and Roland Edge.

In a statement, the club explained:

'The decision to part company with Micheal and Roland hasn’t been an easy one to make. Stepping in late last year and taking charge of the team amidst a period of uncertainty, they demonstrated remarkable dedication despite limited resources. We greatly appreciate both of their efforts and unwavering commitment throughout their time at FIFC, and as massive advocates of the club, it goes without saying that they depart with the best wishes of everybody here, for their future managerial careers.'

Michael and Roland took the top jobs at Invicta after former long serving boss Neil Cugley stepped upstairs last autumn. Invicta ended last season in twelfth place, and the managerial duo depart with them sitting in eleventh after a midweek draw against Haringey Borough.
