Josh Wisson moves from Sheppey United to Hythe Town

Hythe Town have announced the signing of Josh Wisson from fellow promotion hopefuls Sheppey United.

Josh signed for the Ites in December 2022, and went on to play twenty three times last season as his side narrowly missed out on the play off place that Hythe snatched at the last moment. He has made another thirty one appearances- with five goals- this season.

Josh joined the Ites after four and a half years at Ashford United, and made twenty one appearances for the Nuts and Bolts last season. During his time at Homelands he helped the club to two Pitching In Isthmian South East Play Off Finals, although sadly didn't manage to end one with a promotion.

He was previously with both Herne Bay and Sittingbourne- he was called up for the England Under 18's whilst a Brickie.
