Hayles storms into Canvey

DEFENDER Rickie Hayles has joined Ryman Premier side Canvey Island after helping AFC Hornchurch to play-off success last season.

Long-throw specialist Hayles made 45 apperaances for Urchins last sesaon, either in central defence or at right back, taking his overall tally for the club to 105. Canvey will be his seventh Essex club. He has previously played for Thurrock, East Thurrock United, Tilbury, Eton Manor, Ilford and Brentwood Town.
