A new trio for Vale
Ryan Yoro-Thomas, Simon Cooper and Jerome Binnom-Williams move to Raynes Park Vale
Raynes Park Vale announced three new signings prior to Tuesday's win over Hayes & Yeading United.
Ryan Yoro-Thomas, a full back, is a player you might remember from his time at Littlehampton Town, for whom he played twenty six times during 23-24 and thirty nine times during 24-25, scoring twice during the latter campaign. He also played South Central football for Bognor last season, albeit only five times. He previously played youth football for Horsham.
Simon Cooper, who made a scoring debut, moved from Chatham Town, after playing a big part in the Chats successes over the last few years. He made thirty two appearances last season, forty two during 24-25, thirty three as they lifted the Velocity Cup in 23-24, and thirty nine as they clinched the Pitching In Isthmian South East title in 22-23. Prior to his time as a Chat he played for Kingstonian for three seasons- although two of them were interrupted by the pandemic, and was one of the horde of players who moved to the K's from Merstham alongside boss Hayden Bird after reaching the Play Off Final in 2018-19.
He has also played for AFC Croydon Athletic, Guildford City, Chipstead and Carshalton Athletic.
Jerome Binnon-Williams, a left back, came through the youth ranks at Crystal Palace, and had loan spells at Forest Green Rovers, Southend United, Burton Albion and Leyton Orient whilst an Eagle. He went on to play professionally with Peterborough United and Chesterfield, and has since played for Halifax Town, Barnet and Maidstone United before signing for Dulwich Hamlet in the summer of 2023. He went on to make thirty six appearances and score five goals during his first campaign at Champion Hill, and another thirty four, with three goals, during 24-25.
He then moved on to Ramsgate last summer, and played thirteen times before a move to AFC Croydon Athletic. where he made twenty two appearances, helping the Rams to the Pitching In Isthmian South East Play Off Final.
