Hanfrey new at the Dockers
Tom Hanfrey is the latest Erith Town arrival
Erith Town yesterday announced the arrival of Tom Hanfrey- and confirmed his man of the match award from their defeat against Margate on Tuesday.
Defender Tom makes the move from Herne Bay, for whom he has played eleven times this season- including in a five-one County Cup win against the Dockers a few weeks ago. He made twenty four appearances and scored two goals for Bay last season, after joining them following a very short spell at Carshalton Athletic.
He spent some of the 22-23 season at Sittingbourne in Pitching In Isthmian South East, joining the Brickies in January 2023 after a spell at Sheppey United, and previously played for FC Romania. Tom was at Cray Wanderers during the 21-22 campaign, signing in September 2021 and going on to make twenty eight appearances for the Pitching In Isthmian Premier side.
He is primarily a left back- although versatile- who came through the Academy, Under 18's and Under 21's at Bournemouth before signing on for Concord Rangers and then Tonbridge Angels in National League South. He made his Angels debut during the 20-21 campaign but played very few matches before the pandemic kicked in.
