Henderson returns to the Trawler Boys

Lowestoft Town legend Chris Henderson is back with the club

Lowestoft Town have announced a return to the club for Chris Henderson.

Chris is very much a Trawler Boys legend, having played for the club three hundred and fifty two times over two spells, the last of those ending in 2023.

As well as being a Trawler Boy he has played for Bury Town, Leiston, Gorleston and Kings Lynn Town, his time with Kings Lynn leading to him being named in the National League North team of the year after helping his side to promotion. He made seventy two appearances in all competitions for the Linnets, scoring nineteen goals.

He was last with us as part of the Ipswich Wanderers squad during the 23-24 campaign.

Assistant Manager Dan Goffin told the club's social media:

‘We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Hendo back to the club. He’s a player who needs very little introduction to the supporters, and someone who brings real quality and experience to the group. We’ve got some exciting young players in the squad, and having someone of Hendo’s experience around them will be invaluable, both on and off the pitch. He knows what this football club is all about, and we’re really looking forward to seeing him back in blue.’
