Holden of the Bears

Pitching In Isthmian South East side Broadbridge Heath have brought in Ben Holden from ‘neighbours’ Three Bridges, the player heading along the A264 for a new challenge.

Ben, who can play in defence or midfield, has been with Bridges since October 2024, and of course played a big part in the most successful season in their history as they won the South East title and the Sussex Senior Cup last season. He played thirty five times in those triumphs, and thirty one times with ten goals during 24-25. He has already made seven appearances this season.

He was an ever-present for Sutton Common Rovers in Pitching In Isthmian South Central during 23-24, making forty two appearances and scoring once- and indeed he picked up the Managers Player of the Season and Supporters Young Player of the Season awards. He played twice more for Rovers at the start of 24-25.

Prior to his time with Rovers he turned out for Haywards Heath Town, making twenty appearances during 21-22 and thirty five during 22-23, a campaign which ended with a relegation Play Off defeat against Redbridge. Prior to his time at Heath he was part of the Aldershot Town Academy.
