Isthmian League partners with PlayerPerx to support player welfare and development across the league
The Isthmian League is delighted to announce PlayerPerx as its official player welfare and development partner, supporting players and their families across the league’s clubs.
The partnership will provide clubs and their communities with access to expert-led education and resources designed to support the individual away from the pitch, complementing the work already being done by clubs across the league.
The PlayerPerx app covers a wide range of areas including mental wellbeing, confidence and mindset, nutrition, physical development, injury prevention and recovery, sports psychology and performance, as well as practical guidance and education for parents of young players.
The app also provides access to exclusive benefits and discounts across areas such as fitness, recovery, nutrition, physiotherapy, equipment and other services relevant to players and families.
The partnership will therefore support senior players competing across the Isthmian League, youth players within club academies and youth sections, and the parents and families supporting them.
Nick Robinson, chairman of the Isthmian League, said: "We have been looking for a suitable partner to provide support to players and club members for some time, and we are delighted to have an agreement with Chris and PlayerPerx.
"Chris is a player in the league and understands the support needed. This is a new venture for the league, and we hope that many will benefit from the relationship.
