Jones returns to City
Dan Jones heads back to Winchester- and this time it's permanent
Winchester City have brought midfielder Dan Jones back to the club- this time on a permanent basis- and he made another debut for the club as they defeated AFC Stoneham in midweek.
Dan was a Southampton FC Academy graduate, and played for the Saints Under 18's before a move to Nottingham Forest, where he played at the same level. he left Forest for Aldershot Town, had a loan spell at Wimbourne Town, and first moved to Winchester permanently in the summer of 2023.
After two years with the club he stepped up to join Sholing last season, but did have a loan spell back in Winchester last season, so perhaps its no surprise that he is back again.
