Kingstonian to leave Raynes Park Vale for Ashford Town

Kingstonian have announced that their groundshare agreement with Raynes Park Vale will not continue after the end of this season. Instead the K's will move- subject to League approval- to the Robert Parker Stadium, home of Ashford Town; a ground they have become rather familiar with of late, having had to move quite a number of home matches there to avoid postponement.

Ashford Town, these days pushing for promotion back to our ranks from the Combined Counties Premier, have a 3G pitch- it was laid during the 24-25 campaign.

The club Chair explained:

'We are very much looking forward to calling the "RPS" our home and playing our football on the fantastic recently installed EG pitch, it's been an absolute pleasure to deal with Nick Bailey, Dave Sampson and Liam Balmer at Ashford Town (Middlesex) FC, who have all been so helpful and welcoming during the four games we've had to play at the RPS this season.

Finally, whilst I appreciate the distance for some of our supporters is not ideal, the club will be making arrangements to assist and help to get as many supporters as possible to the RPS, details will be announced in the off-season.'

Since their enforced departure from Kingsmeadow, the K's have shared with Leatherhead, Tooting & Mitcham United, Corinthian-Casuals and Raynes Park Vale. The agreement with Ashford Town is scheduled to last for an initial two year period.
