K's management team departs

Dean Thomas and Mitchal Gough have left Kingstonian

Kingstonian have surprisingly announced the departures of joint managers Dean Thomas and Mitchal Gough.

In a short statement, the club explained:

'Kingstonian FC can confirm that they have decided to part ways with joint managers Dean Thomas and Mitchal Gough with immediate effect. The Board would like to thank Dean and Mitch, along with their coaching team of Shaun Macaulay and Steve Honey for all their hard work during their time with the K's and wish all of them every success for the future. The process of appointing a replacement is underway. The Club will be making an announcement within the next 24 hours in terms of the appointment of our new manager and his support staff.'

The pair took over as managers in May, replacing the departed Scott Harris. They leave the K's- who defeated Fareham Town three-nil on Saturday- in eighth place in Pitching In Isthmian South Central, two points away from the top five.
