Lewis new at City

Cambridge City have announced the signing of midfielder Marcel Lewis.

Marcel is a Cambridge boy, and a former Cambridge United youth. He finished his Academy time at Chelsea, and upon leaving Stamford Bridge headed to Belgium, where he played for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise as they made their return to the top flight.

He moved on loan to Accrington Stanley in January 2022, and his next move was to Burnley, on a two year deal. Whilst at Burnley he had a loan move to Dundee, and spent the closing stages of last season at National League North side Curzon Ashton before leaving Lancashire in the summer.
