Magnificent Moles!

Binfield come from three down to defeat the leaders, Villa get NINE, and we’ve wins for three goal Moneys, Egham and Met, four goal Portchester, and two goal Hayes
Leaders Leatherhead went ahead just before the half hour as they hosted an improving Binfield, Jacob Breckon with the opening goal. Nathan Hogan’s nineteenth of the season soon made it two, and by the break it was three, Anas Igozouln surely securing victory? The Moles weren’t prepared to lie down, however, and seven minutes into the second half Nathaniel Boakye got a goal back- and then on sixty four minutes Amari Fashanu brought it back to three-two. The unthinkable became real on sixty nine minutes as Kickie Dzimba made it three-three, and two minutes after that Fashanu made it four-three to the Moles! Binfield weren’t finished, Boakye scoring from the spot to make it five-three seven minutes from time, and although the hosts pulled it back to four-five in added time, George Hedley the scorer, the Moles were triumphant.

Hanworth Villa were the hosts for an improving Horndean, but the Villains were ahead on seventeen minutes, Guy Ansah-Palmer scoring first, and Liam Ferdinand doubled their lead four minutes before half time. They weren’t finished for the first half, either- there was still time for Sam Merson to add a third before they headed off for a half time orange segment. Merson added a fourth on sixty four minutes, Ben Geraghty made it five four minutes later, and it was six-nil on seventy seven minutes- Marco Haigh with a penalty- and seven and then eight soon afterwards, Jack Timberlake with both of those. Moneyfields scored the first goal of our South Central afternoon, James Franklyn putting them ahead against visitors Kingstonian after only five minutes. The same player made it two-nil three minutes before half time, and debutant Alfie Bridgman added a third eight minutes from time. The Moles are third, the K’s down in twentieth, four points from safety.
Hayes and Yeading United were the hosts for Bognor Regis Town, and it was the visitors who eased ahead ten minutes before half time, Billy Allcock with the goal. The hosts were level by half time, however, Brendan Matthew hitting back just prior to the break, and just after half time new arrival Liam Tack put United ahead. What they had, they held- and are fifth.
Jack Lee put AFC Portchester ahead at Hendon seven minutes before the break, but Sam Shaban quickly levelled for the hosts- and immediately after the break Shaban scored again to make it two-one. The lead lasted only three minutes, Alfie Stanley levelling for the Royals, and they scored the fifth goal of the afternoon, too- Josh Clack putting them three-two up. Ryan Pennery made it four-two to the visitors sixteen minutes from time, and then Keagan Cole saw red for the hosts. Four-two was how it ended, Portchester sixth- four points away from the top five.
South Park Reigate went ahead against visitors Southall on the quarter hour, Dan Moody keeping his nerve from the spot. Tyrese Briscoe added a second just after the half hour, but The All were soon back in the match, Daniel Roberts putting away a penalty. It was three-one ten minutes after the break, Hayden Gale with the third, but Robert gave the visitors hope when bringing it back to three-two with fourteen minutes left. It looked as if the Sparks would hold on, but four minutes into added time the visitors grabbed a point- Anthony O’Connor making it three-three.
The Sparks are eighth- the All three points clear of the drop zone.
Met Police hosted Harrow Borough, and the boys in blue took the lead early on, Tane Caubo with the first goal of the afternoon. Mason Galloway made it two twelve minutes before half time, his tenth in fourteen matches, and soon it was three, Tobi Ogundega putting them surely out of sight. Borough fought back after the break, London Brookshaw scoring their first just before the hour, but with eleven minutes to go the visitors forlorn hopes departed when substitute Harry Nevins saw red. Three-one was how it ended, Met six points clear of the drop zone.
Ascot United played host to Egham Town, and were undone by some Sarnies excellence on nine minutes, Excellence Muhemba with the opener. It was two-nil just after the half hour, Connor Jeanes with it, and the points were safe when Bradley Clayton added a third fifteen minutes from time. Connah Wilks was dismissed for the visitors late on, and Rudi Pache also saw red for the hosts, but the scoring was over, three-nil the final outcome- Egham in eleventh, Ascot fourteenth.
