New owners and new manager for the Jammers

Kevin Horlock in as Maldon and Tiptree boss, as Barrie and Scott Drewitt-Barlow complete their takeover
Maldon and Tiptree yesterday confirmed their new owners, Barrie and Scott Drewitt-Barlow, and the new owners immediately confirmed their new manager, Kevin Horlock taking the top job.
Kevin was previously in charge of the Jammers between 2016 and 2018, joining the club after spells as Assistant at Needham Market and as manager of Chatham Town. He has spent the last four years managing Needham Market, taking them to promotion to National League North before tendering his resignation a couple of days ago. As well as that promotion, his Marketmen reached the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy, first round proper of the FA Cup, and won the Suffolk Cup on four occasions. He also coached at Colchester United.
Prior to his managerial career, Kevin was a player of some repute. Something of a legend at Swindon Town and Manchester City, he also played for West Ham United and Ipswich Town, as well as more than thirty times for Northern Ireland.
