Newson heads back to the Gulls

Lewes have announced that Calum Newson has returned to former club Canvey Island.

Calum was at Canvey last season, playing thirty three times and scoring four goals. He returned to the UK after a few successful years playing college football in the US, with Kentucky Wesleyan College Panthers, and has also been an Academy player at Leyton Orient.

He moved to the Rooks in the summer, and has played a dozen times, scoring once.
