We asked supporters of our Pitching In Isthmian League clubs to preview the new season, reflect on the old and predict the final outcome. Their predicted 1-22 will be worked into a final table which you will see shortly.
Thinking about last season, what were your highlights?
Lowestoft at home, and Harrison Day's screamer from 40 yards. I also enjoyed going around all the non league grounds trying their food!
And what was the worst moment?
Probably the last game of the season, with Redbridge. Playing so well and then conceding last minute with Redbridge confirming playoffs and a big pitch invasion. We had nothing to play for but it was a kick in the teeth how we lost.
Which member of your squad was your Player of the Season - and why?
Charlie Brown, was so good last season making some unreal saves.
Moving on to your current squad - which players do you think will make a big impact during the 26/27 campaign?
I expect that a lot of the players will have an impact, with Ricky coming in there's a lot of new faces. Will Avis will be a big player, he's been class in pre season, same with Toheeb Elegushi.
Realistically, how do you think you’ll do this season?
I think we will make the playoffs this season!
If you could choose a song for your side to run our to, what would it be- and why?
At the minute it's Seven Nation Army which is classic and does the job, hypes up the boys.
From all the opposition players you watched last season, which one would you love to see in your side- and why?
Shaun Mavididi, 100%.
What is your favourite Isthmian away ground?
Either Cambridge City with their new massive stand, or Witham Town. I am looking forward to the new grounds: Fakenham, Mulbarton etc
If you travelled away, which ground served the best food?
Tilbury for sure. You can't beat Eat Street.
