Samrai of the City- again
Samrai Gebrai is back in Cambridge
Cambridge City have announced a return to the club for Samrai Gebrai.
Winger Samrai joined City for the first time in September 2024. He played thirty five times, scoring seven goals, during 24-25, and made another three appearances last season.
He moved to City from Potters Bar Town, where he played three times during 24-25 and twenty seven times- with two goals- during 23-24.
Prior to heading to Potters Bar Samrai made five appearances for Enfield, scoring in victories over Grays Athletic and New Salamis. He first came to prominence with Walthamstow, his form earning him a move to Canvey Island for the start of the 2019-20 campaign. He made seven appearances for the Gulls, moved back to Walthamstow, and then signed for Pitching In Southern Premier side Hendon. He moved on to the E's, helped them to promotion, and picked up the Young Player of the Year Award in 22-23.
