Mike Carter looks for yet another promotion- at AFC Portchester

AFC Portchester have brought in Mike Carter, the midfielder arriving on a dual registration deal from AFC Totton.

Mike has been with the Stags for more than four years, and has been club captain. He has played a couple of times in National League South this season, after previously helping them to two Play off Finals in a row in Pitching In Southern Premier South, winning the latter in 24-25. He also helped the club to win the Southern Division One South title in 22-23- a season which also saw them win the Champion of Champions Super Cup and Southampton Senior Cup, with him as skipper.

He was previously with Sholing, where he was part of the side that triumphed in the FA Vase Final at Wembley in 2014. He was similarly successful with Havant and Waterlooville, winning two promotions, and Gosport Borough, where he also wore the captain's armband. He did have a short spell at Portchester back in 21-22, on loan from Borough.
