Striker Green is a Beachboy
Kaleel Green makes a Concord Rangers debut- in victory
Concord Rangers picked up three points at Little Oakley in midweek, and they gave a debut from the bench to striker Kaleel Green.
Back in the summer, we asked Little Oakley fan Jack Bloom as part of our Supporters Predictions series; ‘From all the opposition players you watched last season, which one would you love to see in your side- and why?’ His reply:
‘Kaleel Green. He scored 3 goals against us last season and is a complete striker. I would love to see him alongside Tobias.’
We don't suppose Jack enjoyed seeing Kaleel on this occasion, however!
Kaleel played Academy football for both Southampton and Arsenal, and then, after a stint in the Gunners Under 18 side, moved to Colchester United, where he played for the Under 21's. He joined Saffron Walden Town in the summer of 2025, and last season scored thirty one times in forty one appearances- including, as Jack mentioned, three against Little Oakley.
This season he has spent a little time at Ascot United in our South Central Division, playing three times, and has turned out four times for Hanwell Town- including substitute appearances in knockout defeat against Enfield Town and victory against Burgess Hill Town.
