Tom Eastman the star name in a trio of new Jammers
Tom Eastman, Ollie Fraser and Tevan Allen are new at Maldon and Tiptree
Tom Eastman is something of a Colchester United legend, playing more than four hundred times for the club over twelve years and winning the Player of the Year Award four times. He started his career at Ipswich Town, and whilst at United had loan spells at Crawley Town and Harrogate Town. The defender has spent the last two seasons at Dagenham and Redbridge.
Forward Ollie Fraser comes in from Needham Market. Ollie, primarily a left winger, played for the Marketmen's Academy before graduating to the first team setup, and also spent time in the Academy at Colchester United. he has played schoolboy football for England.
Also coming in from the Marketmen is midfielder Tevan Allen. You'll perhaps remember Tevan, particularly from his spells at Brightlingsea Regent and Stowmarket Town. He made a dozen appearances for Regent in our top flight during 22-23. He joined Stow in October 2021, and played a big part in their run to the Play Off's during his first season, before being an almost ever-present during 22-23 before that move to Brightlingsea.
He moved to Stow from Coggeshall Town, and prior to his time at Coggeshall he played for both Bury Town and AFC Sudbury, as well as being an Academy player at Ipswich Town, Dagenham and Redbridge and at Ram Meadow.
He joined Needham Market in the summer of 2023.
