Vita Risk Solutions: Manager of the Month Award, November 2025

Here are the latest collection of Vita Risk Solutions Managers of the Month- a quartet of very deserved winners. 

Premier Division

You can’t do any better than perfection, can you- and perfection is what Folkestone Invicta delivered in November. The month saw the Stripes play seven matches in the League, and win them all, three at home and four on the road. It saw them keep four clean sheets- against Welling United, Potters Bar Town, Wingate & Finchley and Chichester City- and, at the other end, it saw them score twenty four goals, including eight against Cray Wanderers and four against Cheshunt. 

On that basis, it’s no surprise at all that Invicta boss Jay Saunders, who of course won this award as recently as September, picks up another. Many congratulations to Jay on another magnificent month. 

North Division

We’re off to the City- Cambridge City.

City have had a wonderful month; a month which saw them ease past everyone who got in their way. Six matches- three at home and three on the road- brought a colossal eighteen points, and saw Waltham Abbey, Downham Town and Lowestoft Town defeated on their travels, Tilbury, Newmarket Town and Brantham Athletic vanquished at the FWD-IP Community Stadium. 

It’s been some start to his City career for boss Mickey Spillane- and now he’ll have a trophy to remember it by. Congratulations, Mickey. 

South Central Division

We’re off to Fetcham Grove- indeed, we’re heading there for the second time this season, as Ian Selley, who took our August prize, picks up another. 

Ian’s Leatherhead are, as we write, five points clear at the top of the table- and November saw them defeat Hayes & Yeading United, South Park Reigate, Egham Town, Fareham Town and Ascot United. There was also the not-very-small matter of an FA Trophy victory over National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough, which we think is worth mentioning even though it doesn’t count towards this award. 

Many congratulations to Ian, and to his team of Tanners. 

South East Division

AFC Whyteleafe had a rather magnificent November. Six matches brought five victories and a draw, and the victories were all rather spectacular. Leafe scored three against Merstham, four against VCD Athletic, Ashford United and Herne Bay- and topped all of that by hitting Crowborough Athletic for eight! 

The architect of that fine form is boss Ennio Gonella, who picks up his first Manager of the Month Award of the season. If his side can continue to look this good, it might not be the last!
