Aveley add Southend defender

Aveley have strengthened for their promotion run=in with the loan signing of Southend United full back Reiss Chandler.

Reiss will be a familiar name to some of you, as he spent the first part of the season on loan at Pitching In Isthmian Premier promotion-chasers Bishop's Stortford, making eight appearances and finishing on the losing side only once.

That wasn't his first Isthmian experience. He also spent loan time at Harlow Town during the 2019-20 campaign, playing four times.

He signed his first professional deal with the Shrimpers last summer, and has played at Under 18 and Under 23 level for the club.
