Lancing midfielder Andrew Briggs is new at Whitehawk

Whitehawk have announced the signing of Lancing midfielder Andrew Briggs, who follows his former boss Dave Altendorff to the Enclosed Ground.

Andrew had a fine campaign for the Lancers last season, making forty three appearances and scoring six goals. He also picked up the Supporters Player of the Season award for his efforts.

The midfielder spent the 22-23 season at East Grinstead Town, where he made forty one appearances. That followed seventeen- and five goals- during the second half of the 21-22 campaign. He was previously at Haywards Heath Town, Leatherhead, Burgess Hill Town, in the National League South with Eastbourne Borough, and previously played for the Lancers in the Southern Combination Football League.
