BuildKent gets a rebuild!

Folkestone Invicta use lockdown to revamp their stadium

Supporters, officials and local businesses in Folkestone have been very busy during lockdown, as they've used the time to give Invicta's BuildKent Stadium a revamp- making a large number of improvements and changes.

The Invicta website gives a very long list of work- twenty six improvements and other projects, in fact- but the changes include new CCTV, redesigned terracing, new fencing and drainage, a new electronic scoreboard and new lighting- all at "minimal cost to the club." It does our hearts good to see so much of the community coming together to make their football club a better place- and the work continues with a new outdoor hospitality area being constructed outside the bar.

We look forward to our next trip to the Kentish seaside, so we can take a look for ourselves- but in the meantime you can see images by following the link in the paragraph above or heading to the club twitter feed- here.
