Charlie Webster returns from injury to sign for Hythe Town


In January of last year Hythe Town lost one of their most important players, Charlie Webster suffering a dislocation and fracture of his knee whilst playing in defeat against Sittingbourne. Fourteen months later, and after a great deal of treatment and hard work, Webster has just signed on for the Cannons once more, in time to help them with their Play Off push.

Charlie has played one hundred and seventy times for the Cannons. The midfielder came through the ranks at Gillingham, and prior to his Hythe days was an important part of the Tonbridge Angels squad.
