Elsewhere, Northwood hit eight, and South Park end any Uxbridge promotion hopes

Chertsey Town, second for most of the season, knew that they had to better Bedfont Sports result to take second place back- and they did so in style, walloping Thatcham Town five-nil. There were five different scorers, Magnus Abisogun after two minutes, William Montague an hour later, Quincy Rowe, Darryl Harrison and Didi Ndombe with the others. They’ll host Basingstoke Town in midweek.

Sports needed to defeat champions Bracknell Town to take pole position, and they tried their very best, Connagh Wilks giving them a twelfth minute lead. The Robins equaliser came six minutes from time, and it came to George Knight.

Sports will host a derby with Hanwell Town, the Geordies defeating Guernsey four-one, two of the goals coming right at the end. Tom Jackson gave the Green Lions a half time lead, but after the break Sam Saunders, a Gareth Chendlik double and a fourth from Dernell Winter- the last two with ninety minutes on the clock- brought victory to the hosts.

Basingstoke Town took that fifth place with a two-nil win at Chalfont St Peter, and would have taken it even had they lost, as Uxbridge fell to defeat at South Park. Second half goals from Simon Dunn and Conor Lynch gave Stoke victory; whilst two last minute Sparks goals earned them victory over the Red Army. Nathan Hogan and Melford Simpson put the hosts two-nil up at the break, before Juwon Akintunde and Mahlondo Martin drew Uxbridge level after the break. It looked as if it would be a point each, and then right at the end both Joe Bell and James Dickson got themselves onto the scoresheet for South Park.

Marlow lost three-one at Westfield, Luke Elliott, Jacob Breckon and Bradley Walsh with the home goals, Junaid Bell getting one for the visitors; whilst Chipstead finished the campaign with an eleven match unbeaten run, Andy Kabulu-Somo and Jack Beadle earning the points at Binfield despite Liam Tack getting one back.

Northwood have been fabulous on the road, and again turned on the style, thrashing eight goals past relegated Staines Town. Matt Surmon got a hat trick, Josh Helmore added two more, Kyal Williams also got a brace, and Sydney Ibie the other. Maciej Tajs had earlier got an equaliser for the Swans.

Sutton Common Rovers played their last match at Gander Green Lane, Tony Halsey getting the only goal and earning the hosts three points seven minutes from time.
