Rob O'Toole returns to Whitehawk from Burgess Hill Town

Pitching In Isthmian Premier Whitehawk have announced the return of the man who helped fire them to promotion last season, as Rob O'Toole returns to the Enclosed Ground.

Forward Rob played forty five times last season and scored ten goals. He joined the Hawks at the end of the 21-22 campaign from Horsham, where he had spent the majority of the previous five years, scoring the goal which won the Hornets promotion from our South Division with a Play Off victory over Ashford United at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Promotion is something of an O'Toole speciality. As well as being promoted with the Hornets and the Hawks, in the five seasons leading up to his move to Horsham he won promotion every year, with Peacehaven & Telscombe, East Preston, Burgess Hill Town, Haywards Heath Town and Shoreham.

His first spell with Hill included the most successful season in their history, the 2014-15 campaign which saw the club romp to the South Division title, remain unbeaten in the league until March, reach the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup (including victory over Sutton United at Gander Green Lane) and reach the second round of the FA Trophy, a run which included victory at Aldershot Town. This season he has made twenty appearances and scored nine goals.
