Rob Kember to leave the High Road

Chipstead have announced that manager Rob Kember has resigned from the role he has held for four years, his resignation effective the last match of the season. The Chips have three matches remaining, and two of them could be crucial for the promotion race, as they travel to Binfield tomorrow before hosting Hanworth Villa on the last Saturday of the campaign.

Kember, previously a fine footballer with Bromley and Crawley Town, took over at the High Road helm when Antony Williams departed in April 2019. He equaled the clubs highest ever finish last season, when they ended the Pitching In Isthmian South Central season in tenth place, and could yet even equal or better that this season.
