Carshalton Athletic have announced the signing of Kingstonian centre back Ollie Cook, who was announced as a departure from the K's last week.
Ollie played youth football for Fulham before joining the Southampton Academy, and played for the Saints at Under 18, Under 21 and Under 23 level before his time at St Mary's came to an end. He also had some loan time in the north west, with Barrow.
He then signed for Merstham, and was part of the Moatsiders side which made it all the way to our Premier Play Off Final at the end of the 2018-19 campaign, coincidentally against his new manager Steve McKimm's Tonbridge Angels side.
He left Moatside along with most of the first team to follow boss Hayden Bird to Kingstonian, made twenty sis appearances- with two goals- during his pandemic hit first season, another eight during his pandemic-hit second season, and forty eight- with a very impressive eight goals- last season. One of those goals came against his new club, in a one-all draw in early April.
He made his Robins debut in the win over Horsham on Saturday.
