Billy Cracknell makes Wingate & Finchley debut

Wingate and Finchley announced the addition of defender Billy Cracknell prior to last night's match against Enfield Town, and promptly gave him his debut.

Billy came through the youth ranks at Colchester, and - it's almost a rite of passage for Colchester youngsters- played eleven times on loan for Maldon and Tiptree during the 20-21 season, scoring two goals in the process. He also had a loan spell at Concord Rangers and then signed on at Bishop's Stortford- still on loan- in November 2021, playing twenty four times. He spent last season with Cheshunt in National League South, playing thirty two times, and was announced as a new permanent signing for Bishop's Stortford during the summer.
