Daniel back in Blue

Kadell Daniel returns to Margate

Margate have announced the return to the club of Kadell Daniel, who heads back to the Kent coast from Pitching In Isthmian Premier rivals Horsham.

Kadell joined Horsham in February last year, and went on to play eleven times last season, scoring four goals. This season he was a big part of the Hornets famous cup run, and will have particularly fond memories of his second half performance in that three-three draw at Barnsley. He has made twenty five appearances this season, and scored three goals.

He joined the Hornets from Folkestone Invicta, and made twenty seven appearances in stripes, weighing in with three goals. Prior to his time with Invicta he came close to Southern League promotion with Hayes & Yeading United.

Margate fans will have fond memories of his efforts in blue during the 19/19 and 19/20 seasons. He made a debut for the club at Tonbridge Angels in February 2019, and went on to play six times that season, his club unbeaten in all of them- and scoring in the last four. The 2019-20 season, was, of course, ended early, but he'd scored thirteen goals in twenty nine appearances before it did.

He has played much higher up the pyramid, too, for Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic, Torquay United, Woking, Welling United and Hampton & Richmond Borough, amongst others.

He may get to make another debut as the Blues taken on Hastings United tonight.
