Defender Cameron new at the Taydal

Cameron Jessup is new at Brightlingsea Regent

Brightlingsea Regent had a new face on a rather depleted bench as they travelled to Gorleston last night, as Cameron Jessup signed on.

Cameron came through the youth setup at Needham Market, but was soon destined for bigger things, moving on to Crystal Palace and playing for the Eagles at Under 18 level. After departing Selhurst Park he moved to the North East, playing Under 21 and Under 23 football at the Stadium of Light for Sunderland.

He left the Black Cats in the summer, and has more recently been plying his trade for Clacton, where- according to the FA website- he has made thirteen appearances.
