Matt Drage is an Easter arrival at Merstham

We're catching up on the remaining transfers which were announced prior to last week's deadline day. There were quite a number, and with the amount of football we had over the Easter weekend we're a little behind!

Merstham have signed centre back Matt Drage- and he made his debut in the victory at Hythe Town on Saturday. Matt has been with Kingstonian this season, making thirty eight appearances. He has also played briefly for Pitching In Isthmian South Central promotion chasers Raynes Park Vale, playing three times.

Matt joined the K's in the closing stages of last season, making fourteen appearances as they held on to their top flight status. He joined the club from Hartley Wintney, where he had spent most of the preceding four years.

Earlier in his career he played for Staines Town, and then was a big part of the Dulwich Hamlet squad, making an incredible fifty four appearances as they reached the Premier Division Play Off Final in 2015-16. He topped that the following season, playing fifty times as Hamlet again fell in the Play Off Final.

He has also spent time with Eastbourne Borough, Hampton & Richmond, Leatherhead, Tooting & Mitcham United, Harrow Borough and Whitehawk.
