Dons defender new at Hawks

Wimbledon's Oliver Downs makes a Whitehawk debut

Prior to last night's Velocity Cup Quarter Final tie against Haringey Borough, Whitehawk announced the loan signing of AFC Wimbledon defender Oliver Downs.

They then thrust him straight into the starting line up, but unfortunately couldn't prevent his side from falling to a two-one defeat. He featured until being replaced six minutes into added time at the end of the match.

Ollie is a second year Scholar at the Dons, and this- so far as we can see- is his second loan spell, after he spent time with Fleet Town last season. He is normally a left back, and has played for the Dons Under 18 side.
